Ebay Charity Auction for National Children's Homes

There is currently a 10 day charity auction running in aid of the authors chosen charity National Children's Homes. The charity helps children, young people and families with difficulties such as poverty, disability and abuse. Please dig as deep as you can for this worthy cause as 100% of the proceeds are going directly to the charity.

The items up for grabs include: a signed, lined, dated and doodled copy of Tunnels; a signed, lined, dated and again doodled copy of Deeper; a double signed poster promoting both books; a double signed promo postcard for Tunnels; also a double signed card showing the proposed front cover of Deeper had it been self published.

Polish TV Interview

On Monday 2nd June the authors were interviewed for the Polish children's TV channel Teleranek, on the banks of the Thames in London. They where interviewed by 12 year old Bartosz Kuzlik. The interview should be aired in the next few weeks in Poland. (Click on photo to enlarge).

Norwich Monster Book Fair - Video

The authors were in Norwich on Tuesday 3rd June to promote the newly released book Deeper.
They gave a 45min presentation and answered questions afterwards. A reading from chapter 19 from the presentation can be seen Here.

Waterstones Appearance Pictures

Roderick and Brian were at Waterstones Piccadilly on Thursday 29th May to give a 45 minute presentation on Tunnels and Deeper. Around 30 people attended with many staying afterwards to get items signed.

Authors in the Tunnels

On May 28th the authors appeared at the Williamson Tunnels in Liverpool to give readings from the new book Deeper. Many attended this scary event below the earth. Thank you to those who work at the Tunnels for being such great hosts to everyone!

Hay Festival Audio Avaliable

The Guardian Hay Festival Archive website will be uploading audio recordings of the lectures given at the festival including the talk given by Roderick and Brian.
There will be a charge for the download (£1 Approx).

Authors to appear on Radio 2

On Friday 23rd the authors recorded an interview with Steve Wright for Radio 2 about the new book Deeper. The interview is due to be aired later this week so keep your ears peeled or just use the website's 'listen again' feature. (Link Below)

Leeds Book Festival

Tunnels was nominated for a Leeds Book Award being shortlisted in the 11-14 age catagory. Both authors attended the award ceremony at Trinity and All Saints College on May 21st to see the results. Sadly Tunnels didn't win but it was well recieved by over 250 school children with many buying both copies of Tunnels and Deeper.

Authors Signing at Williamson Tunnels in Liverpool

A new venue has been added to the long list of dates and places to catch the authors over the next coming months. This venue is the wonderful Williamson Tunnels. Situated underground and having it's own cobbled street, this truly is a suitable place to get your copy of Deeper signed. Deeper Printed! - Now in shops

Chicken House have finished printing Deeper this weekend with a print-run totalling over 14,000 in it's first edition. Shops and book outlets should receive it this week in time to fulfil orders that should be delivered for May 5th.
